Eli says nothing. He tosses his towl and water bottle aside and heads for the pull-up bar. He didn't feel like hitting a bag today. Today he was going to tire hismelf out, have a drink, and sleep it off until he didn't feel so much like pummeling folk.

Mansi had her arms crossed and was staring at him. "Well? It ain't like we're hurtin' anyone."

Eli paused at the height of the pull-up, chin on the bar, and hazarded a look at Mansi before continuing. "Not directly," down. "But indirectly.." up. "We're sendin' folks.." down again. "To kill other folks, an.." Up again. "Die."

"That's really their choice, ain't it?" Mansi's gaze turned fierce, "And like we got a choice?!"

"You're either tryin' to pick a fight with me.." up again. "Or you're bringin' up points in frustration. Which is it?"

"Don't sidetrack," Mansi replied flatly. "In case you haven't noticed, we got a crewmember payin' the price of our foolishness."

Eli continued with his reps. "So you're picking a fight, then."

"Only if you're goin' to be thickheaded."

Eli kept on going. "What the hell do you want me to say?"

"Am I supposed t' be happy B's 'napped an' we're takin' it in the rear from some.." He swears, that much is assured, but he does so as he pulls himself up and it all comes out in one large slurred grunt. Rest assured, it wasn't pretty, and likely involved goats. "You act like I'm not goin' through with it or somethin'. Like I've already said 'Hell no, let 'em cut off her nose.' But gods balls, that ain't the case."

"Then what in the gor-fuckin'-ram is the case?" she retorted

"Mansi.." He lets go of the bar. "You said it yourself. We ain't got no choice." Eli heads to the bench. The weights on there were previously set by runner, and after throwing a glance at Mansi, Eli attempts it anyway, not wanting to look like a wuss. "Spot me." He asks. Or orders. In Eli language, it was likely a request.

Mansi throws him a look. "You might wanna cut the weights on that." Shaking her head, she said, "So we are following orders?" A beat, "Tim, what if say that we gotta finish ALL their jobs and not just this one?"

Eli pauses and looks Mansi in the eye. "Seriously. Stop calling me Tim, Timmy, or antyhing that sounds like that. My mother called me Timmy and I despise her."

He adjusted himself under the weights after explaining himself and continued, clearly unwilling to enter further into the 'Timmy' argument. "And they say what they'll say, and we'll do it until I find a way to kill his ass." Eli grunted, his face turning red as the weights slowly came off their support and slowly sunk to his chest. With a heave, he managed to lift them upwards and extend his arms.

[Eli, seriously for the sake of thwarting space monkeys, cut the weight on that thing.] Besides, they had no doctor around to cater to Eli's stupidity, she thought to herself.

Eli kept on with the weights. It was a bit more than he was used to, but nothing he couldn't handle for a few more reps. "I'm going to kill him." he managed. "Tanaka. I'm going to shoot him in the chest and watch him bleed out."

Mansi rolled her eyes. "And just how? It ain't like we know where to find him." Mansi thought back to the holographic projection. Hun dan.

Eli put the bar back on it's perch with a bit of effort and reached into his pocket. He handed mansi the letter, stood, and began to wipe his face after retrieving his towel. He'd come back later. He felt like poisoning himself with the good whiskey he still had left.

Mansi looked down at the letter then back up at him. "Where did you get this?" she demanded.

Eli smirked. "Church." was his only response. He sighed, throw his towel around his neck and watered down his face. "Call it charity." He went for the door.

Mansi said, "Wait! You're gonna have to do better explainin' than that."

Eli turned the smirk on her and shook his head. "No, 'fraid I don't." And he was gone.

Mansi followed him. "Timmothy Eli Weiss, you stop right there." "I am not done with you and you don't get to walk away from me."

Eli responded by continuing to walk. Apparently Mansi didn't understand the bit about 'I despise my mother.'
"Eli!" She shouted as she ran up to him and grabbed his shoulder hard.

Eli shrugged her grip from him, but turned all the same to see what it was she wanted. "You have ONE more chance to never call me Timmothy, timmy, or anything close, and then I'm going to blacken your eye." He told her, calmly. "And I'm done with this matter, for the time being. When you're captain, you get to say when we're through."

Mansi looked about ready to hit him herself. "I don't give a pig's fuck about your name, and," she waved the paper around, "this has nothing to do with your bein' cap'n and everythin' to do about savin' MY niece from that gan ni niang."

Eli noted she didn't use said name, and then nodded. "I'm done with this matter for the time being." He said sharply, and went down the hall. "An' she's MY crew, and it has nothing to do with me bein' captain."

"It has everythin' to do with me bein' me." And with that, he shut the door behind him. The lock to his bunk clicked audibly.

"Wo cao ni yeye de sao pi yanr," she screamed into his door and, fuming, stalked into her bunk and slammed the door hard.
